Valley Glen Fire

On Thursday September 17, 2020 MSFD was dispatched for a structure fire at 3:50 a.m. at the Valley Glen Condos Bldg E on Stiles Ave. Upon arrival there was heavy smoke and fire. The assignment was quickly upgraded and all companies put in service. We wish to thank our mutual aid partners: Riverton Fire, Lenola Fire, Moorestown Fire, Pennsauken Fire, Cinnamnson Fire, Cherry Hill Fire, Merchantville Fire, Palmyra Fire and Delran Fire whether they were on scene or covering stations. Also our EMS at station 109 as well as 318 & 809. Unfortunately multiple families have lost everything. There was no loss of human life thanks to neighbors and MSPD for calling the residents and knocking on doors. If anyone wishes to donate to those families please contact the American Red Cross who was on scene as well.
